Sports Drink

Branding

Design Problem

The design problem was to create a new sports drink brand that connects with skaters and riders who do not identify with traditional sports marketing. Unlike major competitors that promote structured athleticism, ReVive targets adolescents and young adults in street-based sports such as skateboarding, BMX and scootering. The challenge was to design a gritty and authentic identity that reflects energy, individuality and street culture.

Concept Development

The ReVive brand was built around a bold and rebellious visual identity. The logo uses a rugged textured finish inspired by concrete and skatepark surfaces with a spray painted edge that feels urban and raw. The partial quarantine symbol subtly references a half-pipe, linking the logo back to skateboarding. The colour palette of black, acid green and cool grey captures energy and grit while maintaining a modern and high-impact look.

Design Solution

I developed the full branding, bottle label and campaign materials using a grungy street-inspired style. The visuals include cracked textures and bold typography to create presence in urban spaces such as skateparks, laneways and city walls. Promotional posters and social media ads reflect ReVive’s unique selling point, presenting a culturally relevant and unfiltered attitude designed for skaters and riders who value self-expression and street performance.
