Food Brochure
Print Design

Design Problem
The design problem was to create a small, multi-page brochure for Feast Your Eyes, a food festival at The Cutaway. The challenge was to organise the supplied text and imagery in a clear, engaging layout that reflected the energy and flavour of the event. The design needed to be visually appealing while remaining easy to read and cohesive across pages.
Concept Development
I explored how layout, typography and imagery could work together to communicate excitement and appetite. The orange and green colour palette was chosen to represent freshness, energy and a connection to food and nature. I created a logo featuring a fork and knife arranged in an oval around the title, symbolising unity and appetite. Early sketches helped refine the grid structure, spacing and hierarchy to balance visual interest with readability.
Design Solution
Using Adobe InDesign, I applied a clean grid layout and refined typography to present the festival content in a polished and inviting way. Images of food were integrated with the text to highlight cultural dishes and recipes while maintaining balance and flow. The combination of bright, warm colours, clear hierarchy and a playful logo created a cohesive brochure that captured the vibrancy and flavour of the festival while remaining professional and modern.
