Design Problem

The design problem of this project was to develop a refined and cohesive brand identity for a courier company that visually communicated speed, reliability and professionalism. The brief required the creation of a typographic logo using only two Pantone colours, along with a full style guide that showcased consistent application across stationery, packaging and vehicles.

Concept Development

The logo I created for Rocket Despatch combines bold geometric shapes and sleek line work to represent movement and precision. The rocket and box iconography work together to symbolise fast and secure delivery, while the red and silver colour palette reflects urgency and high performance. The design aims to capture the energetic nature of the brand while maintaining a modern and trustworthy aesthetic suitable for a courier service.

Design Solution

This project focused on building a complete brand using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Adobe Illustrator was used to refine the logo and brand graphics through layering, shape-building and alignment tools to achieve a crisp vector finish. Adobe InDesign was then used to compile the final brand style guide which displayed the logo variations, typography and mock-ups applied across real-world contexts to show brand consistency and application versatility.
